Makelan offers a wide varity of purchase options to accommodate various builders’ needs. All kits are available separately, however the
total cost will be less if purchased as the COMPLETE KIT. The FUSELAGE KIT supplies the builder with the structural components of the airplane. These include items such as the fuselage, gear legs, wing fittings, engine mount, seats, and much more. The items in this package are supplied sand blasted and powder coated and ready to be assembled. This eliminates the need to cut, fit, weld, and mill numerous metal components. The WOOD WING KIT supplies parts cut to size and shape, and ready for assembly with minimal fitting. Again reducing the equipment and time required to saw, plane, drill and mill numerous wooden components. The ACCESSORY PACKAGE supplies the balance of components produced by Makelan that are specific to the Hatz
Classic. This includes items such as the firewall, windshields, turtledeck and similar components.
Those builders interested in a quick build option might consider pre-facbricated ribs or pre-assembled wings and center section. Those items can be found on our PARTS LIST.

Corporation uses modern manufacturing techniques such as laser and waterjet cutting to produce accurate metal parts. Precision CNC routers and planers are used to produce many of the wooden parts. These
machines are programmed using the CAD produced drawings and PLANS of the Hatz Classic.
